Anjappar is one of the popular family restaurants serving authentic chettinadu food for the past fifty five years.Its humble beginning started in the year 1964 in the name Anjappar mess by its founder Master chef Anchappan,who has the credit of cooking for many celebrities,the foremost being the iconic Puratchi thalaivar Thiru M. G. Ramachandran.


In fact, chettinadu food is synonymous with Anjappar who introduced this repast to Chennaites. The popularity has grown over the years leading to the opening of branches across Chennai and Tamilnadu.


The legacy of passion to serve authentic Chettinadu cuisine has been trusted to Mr. Rengasamy,who his father strongly considered as skilled and passionate in raising standards of taste and quality. Under his able guidance Anjappar has become a house hold name across the globe.
